Ahrrenatherum bulbosum Variegaum  Variegated Bulbous Oat Grass  Technically an annual this plants unique propagation system makes it easy to raise. Broad leaves are tight and upright (30 cm.) striped and margined in white on a silver grey, Grows in a tight upright clump (30 cm)    

Ornamental grass  Briza media.

Briza media  The Quaking Grass  Blue green leaves and flower heads that hang like scaly little heart shaped lockets that are tinged with pink from late spring to mid summer. A perennial Briza that prefers richer soil than most grasses and will tolerate semi shade well.  

Chasmathium latifolia

Northern Sea Oats.  A North American grass the only member of its genus commonly grown in Europe. One of the best perennials for shady areas. Produces a wide arching mound of fresh green leaves olive green to bronze 60-90 cm and handsome flower heads resembling the Briza Media.  

Ornamental grass Dactylis glomerata Variegata

Only one form in common cultivation. Variegated leaves brilliant white on green. A very tidy non rampant grass that is a free self seeder and very hardy. Unfussy about soil type and mixes well with other grasses. Forms tussocks 30cm high. Only requirements is a regular comb out to remove dead leaves.  

Ornamental grass: Deschampsia Northern Lights

Deschampsia caespitosa Northern Lights Multicolored variegated best as a specimen in pots H 90 cm.- W 90 cm. A beautiful genus of grasses grown for their fine divided airy flowers which cover the plants from late spring well into late autumn and even winter. Shade tolerant mixing well with herbaceous plants and Hostas. Even moisture and unfussy.

Ornamental Grass: Panicum virgatum Heavy Metal

Panicum virgatum Heavy Metal The Switch Grass From the North American prairie fairly large grass but extremely good garden plant. Blue grey upright leaves and purple flowers reaching 1.2 meters. H 90 cm.-W90 cm. Very exposure tolerant requires full sun. A well drained neutral to alkaline soil is best but will try hard everywhere. They do not like the winter wet.   

Ornamental Grass: Phalaris arundinacae Freesey

Phalaris arundinacae Freesey The Ribbon Grass or Gardeners Garter Variegated compact better colour than most. Clean whit variations narrow green stripes sometimes with a tinge of pink. Not as prone to running as the type.
